Brett and Paige met on the subway platform in NYC. After noticing each other everyday commuting downtown to their offices, Paige was the first one to finally break the ice. Using the classic line: "You look familiar, do you know ‘so and so?’", Brett replied with a quick "no", and that could have been the beginning and the end of it.

But just a couple of weeks after their initial exchange, the two found themselves standing hip to hip on the subway heading home from work - this was a first. And on this fateful day, Brett struck up the conversation. They talked the entire subway ride , transferred at Union Square, and got off at their stop at 28th and Park . The conversation never dulled and as they found themselves walking step-for-step back to their apartments. Only then did they realize that they lived just one block apart, a mere 50 feet door to door. That following Saturday (technically early Sunday morning) they happened to cross paths at their local pizza shop where fate would bring them together yet again (that 2am encounter was a little blurry).

A first date occurred a couple weeks later, which quickly turned into a regular routine of a seeing each other 2x a week, 3x week, and so on. Since then, dozens of trips have been taken, countless nights filled with bourbon and cheese have been enjoyed, and the rest is history for Subway Boyfriend and Train Girl.
